Location : Sarapduli Forest Lodge is located close to the Corbett
National Park and Tiger Reserve in the state of Uttranchal in India.
Why Sarapduli Forest Lodge
On the way to Dhikala from the Dhangarhi gate, the road passes through a
magnificent forest area. While on the way you will come across Sarapduli
Forest Rest House, which are bookable through Project Tiger. But, you have
to make your own food arrangements as the lodge here doesn't provide food.
The bungalows are abound by deep forest cover; and movement on foot is
restricted. While you stay here you will see only wild animals that stray
close to or into the lodge compound. If you are a die-hard wildlife lover or
want to read each & every movement of the wildlife, then this is the
best option for you.
Facilities & Services
There are 2 rooms bunglows, 2 rooms hutments. Electricity is not available
in the hotel. There is no provision for food and beverage. You have to carry
your own food and other requirements along with yourself.
Venture Around
The surroundings are exotic. You will be so much absorbed in it that, you
may not get time to visit other places. But, if you want more then you can
visit the areas close to the Corbett Wildlife Sanctuary.
Ramnagar : Situated in the rich farm belt of Terai, on the
southeastern fringes of the great forests, the busy market town of Ramnagar
makes a fishing base camp. It is the main administrative centre for Corbett
National Park and Project Tiger. At Lohachaur, 15 km north along the River
Kosi, you can try your hand in the sport of Fishing & Angling.
Corbett National Park : Located in the foothills of the Himalayas is
the majestic Corbett National Park. Home to a variety of flora and fauna, it
is famous for its wild population of Tigers, Leopards and Elephants. Rent a
jeep or hire an elephant to experience the wildlife in the Corbett.
Additional Punch
Entire Uttaranchal is exquisite. Go to any part of the state and you will
find ample opportunity to relax around. Some places you can visit are -
Dehradun, Nainital, Rishikesh and Haridwar. The Pilgrimage Centres of
